AARON PAQUETTE: “13 moons. 1 year. A different way of counting that provides an altered perspective on how we measure out life. Do we enforce a system, or do we follow the natural patterns of this universe, of these satellites and stars? We are blood and earth, and dust. In this spinning, fractal, beautiful life – we are Star People. We remember.”
AGUENUS: “These uncertain times Known as The Age of Aquarius, a transformation of rebirth and renewal, has long been prophesied and called The Age of Floral Waters to many Indigenous people of Turtle Island. We are being called to unite our spirits to our humanness so that we may live in unity with the earth and experience oneness with the universe. These artworks I have created reflects this prophecy, remembers the importance of floods to prepare the earth for the great renewal, and demonstrates balance in nature that us humans are beginning to experience within.”
Exhibition continues through to November 16
