The Bearclaw Gallery is pleased to offer new works by Ronnie Simon
Gwich’in artist, Ronnie Simon was born in Aklavik, Northwest Territories in 1968. He grew up in Fort McPherson, NT. Ronnie is a self-taught wildlife artist who began painting at a young age. Ronnie’s inspiration comes primarily from the land, and his passion for the wildlife and nature he grew up with shines throughout his work.
For Ronnie, the portrayal of wildlife and birds in their natural habitat is his preference. Using acrylic paint as his medium he depicts the natural beauty and serenity of nature in his work.
