“Distance – the space between two points – the difference of historical, political and economic perspectives. The work in this exhibition is part of my own reconciliation of that distance. All my life I have walked amongst both Aboriginal and White communities and have negotiated a sort of resolve, realizing I can change nothing but I remember a lot. The images you see speak of that journey, both envisioned and felt, that brings forth a sense of the lingering post – colonial existence, and hopefully allowing – that distance between us – to be witnessed.” – Jim Logan
The exhibition continues through to October 15, 2014.
