The gallery is pleased to welcome two new artists; Ernest Cobiness and Ellie Lagrandeur!
Ernest Cobiness is the son the Indigenous Group of Seven artist, Eddy Cobiness. His style, though reminiscent of his father’s work, is truly his own. Working primarily in watercolour on paper, Ernest paints animals and birds, joining clean lines with hyper realistic features. To view the works we have in the gallery, click here.
Ellie Lagrandeur is a self taught artist originally from Bolands Bay in Northern Ontario. She began her professional career in 1986, painting large scale murals and canvases. Her work often depict animals in their natural environment.
She now resides near Elk Island park, alongside a wildlife reserve and the natural surroundings that she loves. To view Ellie’s work in the gallery, click here.
